Hacking Gateway 3DS - First 3DS flash card?!

Just a thought, you clearly haven't been around long enough to realize that some of these teams come up with very elaborate ways to make something look legitimate. A lot of people tend to get suspicious for that very reason. Hence, sites like these tend to try and look at things from every absurd angle to try and figure out what part is a hoax.

why are there people trying to prove that its fake, when they have a video evidence of loading a microsd card in the cart and inserting it in 3ds, moreover if its a downloaded game from eshop tell me how the heck did they get it on microsd so that we dont need a flashcart we can use the same files to boot from our sd card...

Comon guys take a break wait for 2 weeks and we will know it.. anyways i will be the one ordering this for sure.. and for an update they have said that they are working on a game manager which will load games directly from micro sd card so one game per sd is ruled out....

That may be exactly what they want, to make themselves know, i admit this video would take extraordinary skills to be faked, but we have 2 weeks to speculate so why not do it? It is fun.. Plus, we could know if it is fake before it is launched.

it was sarcasm...I'm just making fun of the fact that everyone thinks they know exactly how the 3DS and this UNRELEASED card work, when the only thing we know is that if you shove it into your urethra, it will probably hurt.

Well about the 3ds we do have kind of an idea of how it works, not exaclty, i'm hoping that with the decapping chip thing we get to know more about it, about the flascart, it is fun to speculate, isn't it ..

Pause: I checked that website 17 hours ago, and it was only at 1300.10. While I'm not mad at this at ALL meaning that we are one step closer to decapping the 3DS, what I wanna know is, WHO donated $700 in one day?

Apparently (we don't know if any of these two, flashcard or decapping will help) 3DS' "scene" is taking a big step this week, 2 teams in different areas are better than one. maybe this boosted other people to contribute or the team of decapping itself, as we all are looking basically to the same thing : take the best we can out of our 3ds.

no scene, no homebrew, no custom code, etc.

If this is actually legit and enables wide spread piracy of for the 3ds. then maybe the people working on 3ds hacks will be more willing to share there information since piracy is already possible and the main reason they hide so much stuff is to prevent piracy.

OK im wanting to maybe clarify this, is this thing using a header/ or something from a legit game and then passing it off and loading the ROM, much the same way current flash cards do? if so, and someone im sure will clarify, as far as the region locking goes, isn't that done on a developer/cart level? if so is there currently any region free games? whats to prevent them from using that as the header and then passing it off to the ROM, thus making it region free. Just a thought. I read thru 27 pages before jumping to the last page as it was pretty much the same repeated things over and over.
