Hacking Gateway 3ds an error occurred

Hello people,

Im having this message after playing approximately 20 minutes a 3ds rom :

any fix for this ?

Sounds like poor contact from the mSDCard. Does diagnostics report any fails? Try putting a piece of tape or two over it, and see if that helps.

Did you upgrade your 3DS?Check your 3ds's version.

He was in the middle of playing a ROM so I doubt thats the case.

Does it only happen with 1 rom?
Is the rom trimmed?
Is it a scene release or backup?
Have you tried backing it up/downloading it again?
Have you at least tried transferring it to the microsd again?

Its happening with luigis mansion 2 and mario kart 7, its a scene release, diagnostic says its everything ok

im using an 8gb micro sd class 2, maybe the card is too slow?

I'm using a Sandisk class2, so that might not be the problem.

Yeah could be a few things, changing the micro Sd and using fresh copies of the roms would be the first steps to do, if that doesn't work try the tape trick to see if the card is loose in the 3ds, you can also give the gateway card a squeeze by where the micro-SD is plugged in in case it's a loose connection there too

Its a trial and error approach you have to take to fix the problem...
Is it only on them two games? Did you try re-downloading the roms from another site...
How about moving the save file....

Sounds like your Micro-SD card has crapped out, mine did the same thing, you will probably find when you go to refomat your card it will lock up half way through, it is a sign of it going out eventually but then again mine happened on 2 64gb cards.

Tested with new micro sd and gives me the same error, specially on luigis mansion 2

I would try a different rom... like if you are using EU, try a US one or just a different download.

Also got the same problem with nearly any rom i play. Sometimes i can play longer, sometimes the error occures right at the beginning. I even used different microsd's.
Hope anyone found out how to fix this.

this happened to me once on pokemon Y during certain trainer battles not randomly tho, i fixed it by downloading the rom again so i guess it was just a damaged download, try to do that with your rom who knows might work
