Other than my son is upset I somehow lost the Miis in MiiMaker it seems to be going well. A little disappointed about the retail cart game save issue, but the performance has been great. Mostly focused on WII U games at the moment however.

Well thats good though realizing this is still in beta, we can wait for a full fix/support.

I have been using gateway ever since the release and have been loving it. I have a question though, if i download a rom that is .3ds where are the saves for it? I finshed professor layton vs phoneix wright so are the saves in the rom itself? Because i have a 16Gb micro sd card inserted into gateway and would like to just backup my finished games in a folder on my computer.

.3DS, correct? In that case, it should be in the root of your 3DS's SD card. It is identified by the .3DS's program ID, so you'd hafta find the .sav that matches the program ID of your game.

Saves are on your big sd card as a .sav file, named from your game id number.

Lol I was so lazy I created a save first then renamed my saves dumped to match those and used them with my dumps XD

So I recently found a region-free cia, and I plan on installing it to my cousin's 3DS soon. But I just want to ask a quick question, do updates from eShop work on region-free games? Or would the update have to be from the region it was originally from? (According to what I read, the cia was EUR but then was converted into region-free.)

Yeah. Its region free so it works on any region, but the game updates are still from the original region. Which would be EU for you i think.

Also I am on 9.0 system nand on a 2DS. 9.4 emunand. Is there a way to make the blue gateway card work again for NDS roms?

I have a couple of questions:

1. Do I update my emuNAND from System Update's or eShop?
2. If I update .cia files I downloaded not from the eShop, will it work?

I'm on both sysNAND/emuNAND 9.2, Gateway Ultra 3.0.2, both sysNAND and emuNAND are unlinked.
