Hacking Gamma Launcher + Animal Crossing Character Voices

Using 0.3 Gamma launcher...running Animal Crossing...game plays perfectly fine, no problems..but I can't understand any of the characters when they speak and it just sounds like goobleygook. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?
