twin blades is good.

get umdgen and learn to use it.
the system updates are 50-150meg - delete them from the iso's

get Yacc for converting cso's to iso's and compressing iso's to cso's
(never go higher than level 1 - always check for glitching afterwards.)

a real-world example.
twin blades is about 200meg,
rip the update & compress to cso level1 and it's 47.5meg

I'm struggling to find a good site with unpatched/clean Isos to download, all sites have hosted the files on popular upload sites such as Megaupload which have 1GB limit per day as far as I know and that sucks when you're trying to download games with a file size of 1.6gb. >.<

it's relativly hard to find virgin iso's for us/euro games,
most have been patched(often badly) or some crew has inserted there logo or similar crap(yes, i'm refering to you - Espial'

).
no problem for jpn releases though.

as for downloading,
good hosting sites post the games in small sections - often 250meg to get around these problems.
also good hosting sites dont use megaupload or rapidshare because they spot and delete stuff too fast.

i prefer torrents anyway.

Yeah I've found some sites which have isos separated to multiple zips and uploaded to some sites other than megaupload/rapidshare, but it's a pain in the ass to be on the computer 24/7 for an hour or 2 just to get those downloads done + the awaiting time between each download is like 10-20min >.< So for an 7 part game it's part1,2 10-15min download 15-20min for next parts to be available, part 3,4 download 15-20min.... etc etc. I wonder what'll happen with Vita games seeing as they're supposed to go as high as 8GB. And also, I used/use torrents too, but the problem is the small selection of games available, atleast from sites which I can actually trust + the luck you need to have a lot of seeders for the file.

On topic - I've download like 15 or so small games from this thread, so thanks a bunch for the recommendations! One of the most intriguing one is the Half Minute Hero - man when your time is ticking down to the last seconds and you're making a run for that last village you need to get to, or watching your HP + the bosses HP alongside the time left remaining....it gives ya goozebumps! And LoL for the small credits after each and every mission you complete
