Title says it all, my games on external HDD are just gone (using SX OS EmuNAND 7.0.1), no error messages, nothing. All of them were xci's. Should i format it to fat32 and start to split files? Most of the games were 10gb+

I had 170gb~ of games, just checked it and not all games are gone, just the most recent ones. Dont want to download 50gbs~ again and lost them again.
HDD is working fine, just some recent games went missing.

Maybe there is a problem with the HDD, easier to use exFAT with SX OS HDD, but exFAT is corruption prone, you using a Y cable to power and supply data?

Get an Y cable.

Is it really necessary? I know people used it on Wii U because it wont work without it, but on switch it works fine, just lost those files for the first time, i managed to recover the files using a PC software, and apparently saves are fine.
