Hacking Games Load via USB Emulators on the latest version?

Hi all I wanted to know if someone is in the ability to change emulators following their latest version to load the Roms through a HDD External? please
As pointed SNES9X GX, Fceu GX, VbaGX.

GenPlus GX
SMSPlus GX
Gnuboy GX
UAE4Wii
ect...
