Hacking Question Games install with Goldleaf, but close due to an error?

What happened to homebrew? I used to be able to just install games via tinfoil and play them, yet since I've updated I can just install them via goldleaf and they close RIGHT AFTER OPENING!!?! What is happening? Why doesn't Homebrew work anymore?>

I use this website to setup the sd card - https://sdsetup.com/

Yet NOTHING WORKS. No idea what's going on, though SMB Deluxe works but NOTHING ELSE DOES!!!!

Seems to me your switch and kosmos bundle are lacking the needed ES and FS signature patches which you can download from here.
Or if you plan on using the standalone build of atmosphere get the signature patches from this thread

If the problem still persists, uninstall the game and reinstall them.

Did you update the sig patches?
And your homebrew seems to be working just fine, it's your nsps that aren't.

sometimes Sig patches need a manual workaround. Even if you get the latest kosmos bundle you'll have to copy& replace them at times because that's just how it goes sometimes.

For me it didn't. I was trying to switch from SX OS and I was wondering why none of my games would load anymore. I gave up on it and went back to SX, later I set up Atmosphere from scratch without SDSetup and although a hassle as there are no proper guides for it, now I understand much better the different parts of Switch CFW and what is needed to make them tick.

Well, that explains that. I thought it was weird that they weren't included.

Got those patches installed. Fresh SD install. Still doesn't work. I've tried multiple NSP's as well.

NO idea what's going on. I have both patches installed, some NSP's work some don't. No idea what to do or what's wrong. Multiple NSP files of Mario Odyssey don't work, yet Mario Deluxe and Mega Man 11 do.

AYEEE I figured out the problem. YOu have to on firmware version 7.0.1 or higher to install updates now, something to do with the keys changing.

im on 9.0 and having nsp issues. so are a lot of people on the board it seems

I have the same issue as well. Awakening NSP magically worked as well as my own dumps, but others do not.

Download latest Kosmos, latest sig patches 2.0.0.-9.0.0 (not joonies).
Download latest tinfoil 4.1.0 with fw9.0.0 support. Overwrite atmosphere files from Kosmos and start console using fuseeprimary (do not use hekate and goldleaf 0.7.1+quark)
