Hacking Games freeze during play on usb

Hello guys,

Here is my problem:

most of my games are freezing during game play (either though uloader or usbloader or even dvd's)

I did exctly as mentioned

Then when starting a game either enforcing it to PAL or NTSC, it hangs after 3 or 5 mins of play
Games:
- SUper Mario Galaxy (PAL)
- TMNT (PAL)
- Sega super star tennis
- Ben 10
- ICE AGE 3

and my wii is 4.2U

Anyone can advice ???


N.B. silly question: if my wii is 4.2U and the game is PAL, should I WiU.1 to make it NTSC or from uloader I force PAL50 or force NTSC?

What kind of usb do you have?

I have ide 80GB WD HDD and connected it via ide-usb connector
I also checked the issue of hd sleep mode and the hd doesn't seem to go into it (i'm putting my hand over it and feel the spinning)

please help

I changed the USB HD and even backup 2 games on DVD's and the same problem (freezing)
so, any ideas?

you need to check the disk for errors [do a surface scan] and change the sleep timeout [not the powersave settings in windows -- you need to download the manufacturer's tools for the drive and set it that way.]

as per reading his posts,i think he also tried to run it off the wii's dvd drive not only off usb loading and gives him the same result.

to the OP maybe you could give info on you cios249 rev no. or any another backup loading cios rev. you may have to update you backup loading cios.

I checked the HD, no errors:
and also disabled the spin down feature

but nearly all games are freezing

Well,

I tried to reinstall ios222,but have an issue:
I used cios222 installer, and used ios 249
when I chose ios222, I didn't find 38 merged with 37...

All I found was 38 merged 36 and 37 merged 36 and 60 merged 36

ANy ideas?

Well, reinstalled, 222 and 223 and still have the freezing issue

oh no, your getting angry because pirating isnt working the way you want it to?

then your drive is having sleep issues.

some games are running from DVD's so it is not HD issue after all
