Thanks again for another update Hadrian, Death Jr & Kurikin: Nano Island Story look interesting. I hope they don’t get delayed like every other game I want to check out.

I think I'ma go (sort of) help my bestest best fiend hadrian with the other Japanese games he skipped (!!!). Actually I don't help much because I'm too lazy to actually put real descriptions, I'm just gonna put what I think. Keke.

Gamics Series Vol. 1: Yokoyama Mitsuteru - San Goku Shi - Vol. 5- Suishi no Hyou Official Site

The "Gamics Series" is a um... game comics or manga that can be enjoyed using one hand (so you can easily read them on the commute or while touching something else other than your DS). It's presented panel by panel on the upper screens, some kinda animated and with sound effects. The lower screen is used to access character and story data and other stuff. Volume 1 of this series feature's Yokoyama Mitsuteru's Sangokushi manga, first published in Kibou no Tomo magazine. There's also a "Game Mode" which is a dumbed down version of the Ro3K strategy games grandpa used to play so you can still um.. enjoy it after reading them manga. Yup. (This one being released is Volume 5 "Suishi no Hyou" which compiles volume 41-50 of the manga.

Crossword de Manabou! Chiri - Rekishi Official Site
Developer's Previous DS Games: DS Puzzle Series volumes, Honeycomb Beat, Sudoku Gridmaster and many others.

More of Hudson's crossword stuff for the DS. I don't think this is officially part of the "Puzzle Series" ones. This one features History and Geography problems (oh wow!) mainly to help Junior High students I think. This one is awesome, I loves History and Geography!

Iraroji Vow Official Site
Developer's Previous DS Games: Numplay VOW, Tenchu: Dark Secret

Actually, I think it's "Illogi Vow", from seeing the official site's URL and seeing that it actually means "Illustration Logic". It's effing Picross with OMFG color! I'm also liking how this one is presented (see screens). So if you've already beaten all them Picross DS stuff (downloads and all) give this one a go. Part of From Software's VOW series which I don't really know that much about other than it's about puzzles and fun and shit (the other game is Numplay/Nanpure Vow). Also, w3wt.

Osawari Tantei: Ozawa Rina - Season 2 1/2: Rina wa Mita! Iya, Mite nai Official Site
Developer's Previous DS Games: Touch Detective/Osawari Tantei Ozawa Rina

Sequel to (omg) Touch Detective or Mystery Detective or Osawari Tantei Rina. Old and new characters, 5 more mysteries to solve and your sidekick is still a penis! Let's hope Atlus also localizes this!

Sansuu Olympic Iinkai Kouan: Suuji de Kitaeru Nouryoku Training: Algo & Trinca Official Site

Developer's Previous DS Games: Minna no DS Seminar: Kanpeki Kanji Ryoku/Eitango Ryoku, Choco Inu no Sweets Depart, DS Puzzler: Numplay Fan & Oekaki Logic and many more.

algo.jpg

trinca.jpg

TDK's learn stuff series presents two Math (oh wow!) card games "Algo" and "Trinca". Algo is co-developed by people from Tokyo University and some other guy (Peter something who looks weird in the CM), where you use numbers on your cards to guess your opponent's cards. Trinca, I dunno much other than it's also a math card game, but it's made by the same guys who made Algo. Math! Yay! (Seriously though, Algo looks fun if I get to learn it I guess.)

Shin Lucky * Star Moe Drill: ~Tabidachi~ Official Site

Developer's Previous DS Games: Lucky Star - Moe Drill

Oh! Moe~! It's Lucky Star characters in a DS game! It's a sequel to the last Lucky Star game featuring more mini-games, or "homework drills" rather.

Shinri Kenkyuuka Yuuki Yuu Kanshuu: Mainichi Kokorobics DS Therapy Official Site

Developer's Previous DS Games: Pinky Street - Kira Kira Music Hour

Oooh! As a Psych Major, there's nothing more than I want than a therapy game! Anyway this is a daily psychology quiz thing where you answer questions about love, money, the future and those kinda stuff. Results are based on latest psycho research or so. There's also 2 mini-games which they say for you to relax. Plus, I love the light-hearted, relaxing design. Sweet.

Thanks a lot! Only googled those games and couldn't find anything so left them. Descriptions are better than mine, I just copied what the publisher wrote about them.

Looking forward to Iraroji Vow, loved Picross DS.

I wanted to say exactly the same: Death JR & that Nano Island thing sound like really fun games!

Thanks so much Hadrian for doing this

This should be on the frontpage of GBAtemp, so you can see in a blink of an eye what to look out for!

Wow! Theres some interesting and potentially good games there!

And of course some funny (J) games

I'll try Crossword de Manabou! Chiri - Rekishi . I like crosswords and it will help me with my Japanese geographical terminology ( not that I'll ever use it but its nice to know such things)

No problem, I'm just helping out. Good job with the topic, I hope you continue to do this. I'll help out when I can.

Not sure what Trinca is bt Algo is a cool deduction game. I have the game Coda which is $10 and is Algo. It's a quick 10 min filler and I like it a bunch. http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/8946

i cant wait it look like a really good game. I never played the ps1 version.hopefully it wont be to long before we see it.

It was a pretty decent game, didn't play a lot of it as I was doing 12 hour shifts back then. US version is due 18th June according to some sites.

Oh yeah Tank Beat release has gone forward to 24th. I was just looking what was coming out and it was listed for next week and now its this week. Checked the official website and it does indeed say "shipping 24th May". So I've added that to the first page.
