I rarely have dreams now, so don't need to talk about nightmares.

When I was younger and didn't play games much I had nightmares really often, but once I started playing Pokemon whenever I had a nightmare I could somehow subconsciously imagine Pikachu appearing out of no where and I would wake up, avoiding the scary part of the nightmare.

, it is common for people to forget there dreams upon awaking depending on where they are in their sleep cycle. I'm one of those people who never remembers their dreams, I go to sleep and wake up and can't remember anything in between. The occasional time I remember a dream it's mainly just a mundane normal day of what I do in real life. And I can't remember having any Nightmares so can't really say much for this study.

I can't definitively prove that its related, but ever since I became a regular gamer about a decade ago, give or take, I have had a sharp decrease in nightmares. Those I do have I can generally manipulate in some form, and am more often than not at least partially aware that I'm sleeping.

Believe it or not, I've never had a nightmare in my life. Not sure why....but I never have.
