i hope is does not work

I hope you will take a long walk off a short pier, but you don't hear me whining about it.

current gen consoles been able to emulate each other is wrong emulating past consoles is ok but this can hurt the future there should be a limit and by god i hope this doe not work if sony fans hated the wii so much why would them want to play the games
Shut up

If this will come then the wii sales will maybe go down cause why would i buy a wii if i can buy the ps3 and play both wii and ps3 games

Because the next generation of Ninty console will be out before Wii emulation on PS3 is full speed/fully featured. My guestimate anyway. Wii is cheap anyway, so why not get it when you can play Wii/GC games perfectly on it?

I could definitely see this working. The Dolphin emulator runs games from my Macbook pretty well (some even at full speed), and a PS3 is a lot more powerful than a Macbook when it comes to gaming. I'm loving the possibilities!

I look forward to it. My wii is looking to retire.

Edit: i wonder if Wiimote support is possible directly through blue tooth instead of having to jimmy some code to emulate similar function through some very awkward mapping with PSMove.

since this is not locked yet i wanted to add my 2 cents.
@Twinretro Ps3 bluetooth + bluetooth wiimote = profit
The sensor bar of the wii is not a sensor bar its just 2 infrared lights it does not send any information to the wii; wiimotes do all the work.

The Wiimote uses those light to determine it's position.

Wireless wii sensor bars exist. Or you could use candles.

That's what Sony gets for makeing a nearly exact copy of the wiimote with a squishy colorful ball on top lol. Although this could really only help Sony business and yet another thing that would hurt nintendo's. Nintendo really needs to crack the whip on the security programers and spend less time on there anti piracy campaign. Anybody else agree?

If they make this work there will finally be a reason for me to buy a Move controller

I hate having to play Wii games in 480p because I can't mod my sensor to USB :/
