Homebrew Gamecube VC injection "failed to create save data" error?

I used Wii U USB helper to download some gamecube games (following the proper injection process), and installed them on my Wii U. But whenever i boot the game i get a Nintendont menu saying "Failed to create save data". I have both the Nintendon't forwader on my Wii U menu and Nintendon't on the homebrew channel on my vWii (enabling a virtual memory card). What can I do to fix this?

    I give a Nieghbor couple years ago a Xmas card w a $25 McDonald's gift card, and this past Xmas they give us a Xmas card w that same gift card inside, I know it was the same card, cause they name was on it, but scratched out. Guess they don't like McDonald's. Lol
