With DML, do I still have to have the GC games on an SD card if I already have my Wii games on a USB hard drive and play with Configurable USB loader?

Yes. As of now there is no way to play GC games on USB HDD.

As far as I know any wii can have the drive replaced. If an older drive is installed then you should be able to read backup disks. Replacement drives sell for about 40 on amazon.

Or you could, y'know, use Dios Mios Lite for free? It's in active development, as well as Devolution (Rumoured?) and Dios Mios (Rumoured USB Edition?).

Sure, but nobody says it's going to be released anytime soon, if at all.

Do you know how many videos like this one I've seen? Truly miraculous feats - 4.00+ hacks on the PS3, 3DS flashcarts, 6.60 PSP Go CFW back in the days when the Go was unhackable... lots and lots of videos. A video is not a good way to assume if something's legitimate or not - Crediar himself had Starfox running off USB back when Dios Mios was first coded, but he run into issues. Who's to say he won't this time?

I'm not saying this is fake - obviously Crediar wouldn't post fake crap just for cheap publicity. What I'm saying is that I'm waiting until this is in a release-worthy shape before I sing my praises.
