Hmm ok...well the SD card is working, I tried putting the files in two places, still nothing..

So does anyone else have any other suggestions to get this working? :/ I noticed the guide mentioned something about ios58 or something? don't I need that to? the first time installer only had those files I had mentioned.

Ok I may have figured out the problem (looking at all the guides iv'e read.) I think I need to enter wiimode and then access the HBC from there right? so do I need to install the HBC for the wii now? (I haven't done it in such a long time and don't have a wii anymore so iv'e forgotten how to do so.) also do I need a nunchuk/wiimote? I don't own one. Maybe I was using the wrong HBC as I thought you had to use the wii U one not one on the wii.

obviously .. all this apps usbloader gx and nintendont are wiimode only not wiiu mode lol

You need one at least to install all your stuff, but once you set everything up correctly using hbl2hbc or even wiiu2hbc, with a forwarder to Nintendont on the vWii, you won't need a wiimote to play GC games.

The Wii U's is the "Homebrew Launcher (Channel)". HBL for short.
The (v)Wii's is the "Homebrew Channel". HBC for short.
Hence "hbl2hbc" for example.

I see two methods here, one for wii U and one for wii So do I do method 2 and then use the other link in this thread if I don't have a game?(which I don't.)

you need a wiimote to isntall the hbc in all methods, then you will also need it to enter nintendont, and then after you are inside nintendont you can use a wiiu pro but not the gamepad at all.

And you forgot to precise, coupled with HID to VPAD (or not ?) Nintendont automatically recognizes PS3/XBox 360 controllers ! (if you have one ^^)

it does not recognize xbox 360 controllers lol and nintendont is a wii app hid to vpad is a wiiu app they dont even exist in the same FW why are you spreading fake stuff? nintendont is compatible with hid controllers and it does read ps3 controllers but that has nothing to do with hid to vpad its just normal hid code inside nintendont wich was out long time before hid to vpad lol and xbox360 controllers are not hid at all and are not supported by nintendont unless you buy an adapter that turns xbox 360 controllers into hid controllers.

nintendont is a vwii app
hid to vpad is a wiiu app wich does not work on vwii at all.

Not that fake according to you xDDD, I knew about PS3 controllers since I'm using one... You need to download controllers.zip from Nintendont's app.
i never said it didnt work i said it has nothing to do with hid to vpad and you dont even need the controller zip folder anymore nintendont has built in inis for ages so unless you want a custom setup you need nothing besides the app and the ps3 controller, the entire point is hid to vpad has zero to do with nintendont at all, and you are confusing an user who already is confused about wii apps and wiiu apps.

No.... you still need the controllers.zip file for the controller mappings.... and it's also if you want to change the mappings to whatever you desire.... Also, can you explain why it didn't work when I've didn't put my controllers file ?

either you have ancient nintendont or you have a controller.ini file on the root of your device from the old days, that file has priority over the built in inis nintendont has inside. the controller folder is there so people can get the inis change the layout if they want and them put the ini renamed to controller.ini on the root to use the custom layout, if you change anything inside the controllers folder nothing will happen since nintendont is not even reading that.
if you have no controller.ini on the root of sd/usb it will use the ini coded in the dol itself if it matches the pid/vid.

Also latest nintendont version is number 4.444

Yeah maybe.... You know what ? We shouldn't be raging about that.

how can he instal a fowarder for nintendont without a wiimote to begin with?...
Except we were talking about "entering Nintendont", which I assumed was once everything was setup, especially since your previous sentence mentioned the need for a wiimote to install the hbc (which is the setup part). Notice how my previous post on that thread acknowledged the need of a wiimote to set everything up.
