Hardware Gamecube memory card data gone!!!!! Help!!!!

if they came out raw, there's still hope. do you have perhaps a mario sunshine or tales of symphonia save? I might be able to get them back.

No, I don’t. I’m just using saves from the internet. Thx anyway.

If you haven't written any data to the memory card yet, check out this program: https://gbatemp.net/threads/gcn-memcard-recover.349406/

It can basically recover save files, like with regular sd cards and the sort.

I think he mean "a mario sunshine save on the corrupted memcard". Not "any mario sunshine saves" ^^
The goal is to get back what is left uncorupt and unrewritten on the .raw save file of the bad memcard.

If you have corrupted memcard, dump it to a raw image, we will seek into the binaries and see if their is still something to save. We might be able to seek specifics games save, and extract them from the corrupted memcard images as .gci
(Telling us what saves files are on it normally could help ? I'm not sure how the .gci format work)

I find this documentation about the structure of the memcard filesystem. I will try to save some data from your .raw on my free time as it seem very interesting to me but I never did it before.

@godreborn If you already did this and have some time to spare feel free to try, you'll probably be faster than me

I know how terrible is that. I deleted some saves from my 3DS because I was extremely stupid and then I wished too much that I hadn't do it. Are there save editors for the games? this might work to recover saves.
