Hello! I was wondering if there is a Mod somewhere that could make the Gamecube controller work on the Wii home menu (similarly to how the classic controller works), I usually play Melee when I boot up so I don't really need the Wii-mote, it would also help keep batteries from dying whenever I do decide to play a Wii game.

Thanks! -Beebons

Unfortunately, I think there is not a hack for this, but you can use Priiloader to boot directly in USB Loader GX, Homebrew Channel or the homebrew application you want to run your GC games. There is an application called WiiSystemMenuPlayer, which replicates Wii System Menu and adds Gamecube controller support (https://gbatemp.net/threads/wii-system-menu-player.325976).
