Hacking Gamecube Controller on Wii Menu?

Has anyone devised a way to make a Gamecube Controller usable on the Wii Menu yet?

If you have a Classic Controller [regular or pro], you can use that to navigate instead.

With a Guitar from guitar hero you can also navigate on system menu (with the analog)

As long as they generate heat - those newfangled ones won't cut it, and neither will lava lamps in Wisconsin starting....a year ago I think.
