Hacking Gamecube backups missing sound...

I have just started to play some of my old Gamecube games from backups and most of them do not have the background music. Some are fine, and the rest of the audio is fine, but I was wondering if there was a setting I am not checking to make the sound work correctly or something like that, or if it is just because of the compatibility of the games and is completely circumstantially coincidental. I have cMIOS v10 and am running all of my backups through the disc channel (Gamecube Backup Launcher v1.1 by running cIOS 249 as system menu) because for some reason GC Backup Launcher will not load (Theta, Xi, or 0.2), but that's a completely different problem (which you are all more than welcome to help out with as well).
