First of all, I'm using Switch Version 5.1.0 (latest), I downloaded the latest payload and atmosphere where they fixed the sleep bug for homebrew and I am able to play games with homebrew installed. Although I can launch homebrew apps and open games like Skyrim for switch with no problems, the problem starts when I inject a save into one of my games (Skyrim, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe) and launch the game after injection and well the loading switch icon will be there for eternity. Obviously I can restart my switch and reinstall homebrew once more but, it's getting rather annoying. I apologize if I'm asking in wrong forum but I think this is related. Anyways, would appreciate some help. Thanks!

You need to turn off the console and then back on. That's it.

1.RCM
2.HBL
3.Inject Save
4.Exit
4.2Power Off
5.Turn On
6.Open game
7.Profit.

That's what I'm trying to avoid, I don't want to keep turning it off and on, reinstalling HBL, injecting, restarting, play, save, turn off, RCM, HBL, Extract Save, etc... I guess if that's the only thing I can do, I might as well wait for an update for Checkpoint or atmosphere. Thanks though.

Why you need to be injecting saves all the time? LOL

Right now it's required to restart. The Op of the Checkpoint thread said it.

Usage
You can use Checkpoint for 3DS with both cfw and Rosalina-based Homebrew Launchers. *hax-based Homebrew Launchers are not supported by Checkpoint.

Checkpoint for Switch only runs on homebrew launcher. You're required to reboot your console after restoring a save through Checkpoint for Switch.

Use these updated hekate files which fix not being able to load games after opening the homebrew launcher: https://gbatemp.net/threads/newest-hekate-sdfiles-zip.506280/
:D

Nahh it's a different issue. He can't start the game specifically after injecting a save file without restarting first. It's normal atm. Hopefully a workaround is found in the future.

Yeah as far as i know that's normal, i still dont see the use of injecting saves all the time... unless you're hacking splatoon or something. xD

And I messed up! You were right! those files do fix it! Just tested with Shantae. Sorry for saying otherwise without testing first. I also used the latest release of Checkpoint which got released two days ago. Not sure if that make a difference. Thanks for letting us know.

I was really wrong. I did got fixed.

There is a reason why, you see I'm testing different save files for Skyrim, from PC to Switch and vice versa. I'm also testing how much saves Checkpoint can handle before I launch Skyrim on switch again and giving me Corrupted saves. How I edit Skyrims saves is by loading the save from my switch by of course extracting them, than put them in my pc, edit, put it back into my switch and by doing this I have to turn off my switch every time I eject my SD CARD. Although I can copy things VIA FTP, but I also want to test my saves if they work. Doing so makes the eternity switch loading screen happen and I don't want to keep turning it off and on.

Woah dude, just tested this out with Pokemon Quest and Skyrim. I really appreciate this.
