Hardware Game Tile

where is the game tile information stored? I mean the tile that appears when you first insert a game, the one that can't be archived by itself? is that stored on the internal flash and can't be copied to the micro sd card? I'm not sure if I should archive my games' list or if I should just delete everything and start over. I'm in the process of transferring everything to my micro sd card, so I'm trying to figure out how best to do this. I don't want to miss anything.

I deleted a game, then reinstalled it to the micro sd card. after that, I removed the micro sd card. the game tile was still present on the home menu, so I assume that the game information is indexed and recorded to the internal flash. it also seems to be aware when a game's update isn't present when it should be, so the app version must also be indexed.
