Hi guys, I'm currently using what is now called softmii on my wii. Now for some reason when i go to play Cod:waw i get a read error. All my other backups work perfectly fine, So could it be the disk went bad? Its not scratched and very clean... What could it be

the prob is the stupid noob in you.
if you add read what you should, you know that it's just stupid to install sofmii at this point

Don't be a douchebag.

And try burning it again at a slower speed.

You can try to reburn the iso.
It might just not work on your Wii.
I have a few games that people say work, but when I try it doesn't.

Don't waste too many DVDs though. They can get expensive

Try burning at 4x. Thats what I use every time and it works.

The game worked fine before, it just stopped working, so i think the disc went bad, i've had it for a while, about 2 months, constant usage. Also Mr.asswipe I don't see this having to do anything w/ softmii. I only posted that because some people ask.

Where would that be? The disk must of been bad or something, it was fine a few hours ago, every other game works flawlessly, and as soon as i load the game through the disk channel I click start and error.

Other games = golden

Maxwell are second rate disc work for while then stop.
Here is a site to give you the facts:

Both of you calm down. Especially you kimikal27. Just for future reference, WhiteWingedKnight, this forum is not as fast as sites like gameFAQs so give the people time to respond instead of demanding an answer the moment you post. This site has a great community but it is also a sleepy community in the sense that it will take time to get answers to you.
