Gaming Game Compatability

Well, my little bro wants to play San Andreas on the comp. But the computer specs are totally shit.
Would putting more RAM decrease the ultra laggyness in San Andreas?

Oh yeah, my graphics card is really crap too +] Radeon 7000 I think. I have a NVDIA but can't seem to find the driver. Might have a look later

Putting more RAM would not really help that much. The game will still be ugly. The reason that it is ugly is because your resolution is low. Try to make it higher. If your computers sucks, then it will be really slow. The solution in this case is to buy a new video card. Video card usually solves alot of your problems in gaming, not so much ram.
-EDIT- Just saw your specs. There is no way that card can run that game. Try upgrading to a good AGP video card. Also, what is your CPU speed, Model and such? How much ram do you have?

1 gb ram is plenty!!~ i have 512 and it runs great!! just check for a cood AGP video card as 6600GT or even READON HD2600

you can buy a good 2nd hand AGP graphics card for 50-100 dollars these days. Hard to find though

i say save up a few hundred more and get a new pc
