bannerbomb is toast with the next update. this and the ssbb hack probably wont, because they cant patch games.
exactly.
Put it this way how long does it take for another update to come out? why would he hold on and wait to release a exploit when their is bound to be a good few to be used. By the time their is no exploits left that particular SMG exploit hacker may have left. So why wait? and who'm updates without the HBC or whatever anyway...

I said it before and ill say it again.
We need a sonic unleashed exploit to give the game some reason to exist.

more like a generic shitware exploit..

EDIT: Have anyone notice it just Nintendos games that right now bugs have been found it in?
I suspect the Nintendo games are being targeted as they'll have a much large install base than some of the shitty 3rd party shovelware games.

That and Nintendo can't blame or shit on a 3rd party for the security hole, bushing said something about it being a contributing factor as well asl avilibility with their choices for the twilight hack. Best crack them with their own apps, so to speak.

Even if this is true........ This shouldn't have been released until the brawl hack was patched and killed like the twilight hack. (maybe not killed, but outdated)

What? It's not. They are just disabling the upload feature. It's not even related.

Cool! with all these new hackers and hacks for the wii, maybe one of these hackers will look into hacking the dsi!!!

Wow those spiky thingies were awesome.

Its virtually impossible for nintendo to patch. Don't worry, I wont release a non-stable version. I've already gotten a couple of crashes when trying to load code and one semi-brick from a NAND interruption. Thank god for bootmii.

As for it being fake. I have a video of it loading a level in game (I took level loading code from in game with USBgecko) and made it load the last level.

as for the actual save file that I have. Slot 1 is currently the exploit and Slot 2 is last level. I could probably find uses for the other things, but you really cant play on the save files without messing it up. In the video above I actually ruined the save by getting 2 starbits. Thats how easily it can be screwed up >_<

Romaap, one of my testers, has asked me if he can make a video of it offscreen since I'm lacking an actual camera. I told him why not, but apparently he's having computer issues right now. But you should expect him to upload an offscreen video sometime in the future.

I don't see the point in revealing so many exploits at the same time. They should wait for Nintendo to block one (which will be BannerBomb) and then release the others, so that the Homebrew community doesn't get affected.

But a good exploit nonetheless. I don't mean to take anything away from the guy(s) that created this.

Besides, a larger majority of owners own first party games, therefore exploiting a first party game gives a wider amount of people the ability to hack.

If only there was some sort of wii sports hack

Or a Guiness world records hack.
Everyone owns that lump of crap.

trust me people have tried with wiisports. I mean why not? Everyone has one, what simpler way to make homebrew available to everyone.

Theres just not enough stuff on that little disk for an exploit :|
