Hacking G6ds Real

Good Day, i have a little problem.

I had to format my g6ds real but before i did that, i backed up my .sav file for the game pokemon soul silver.
Now that i try to re-upload it to my card, i can do it, but the game can't read the saved file.
I've had this problem before, and they told me to rename both files the same way but with different extensions (.nds and .sav) but it's not working either.

I hope someone can help me, im way advanced in the game and i don't want to start it over again.

Well somebody already told you to make sure both files have identical names ( the game ends with .nds and the save file ends .sav ) ...........so the only thing I can add is to make sure both files are in the same directory.
If that fails, it could be that the save file is corrupted.
Or maybe you forgot to put the system files in the root of your card after formatting.
Did you put the newest SYSTEM folder in the root of your G6 real card ?

yes, i've already do that. I've playing with that save file for like a month and i've never had any problem with the save.
The reason i format the card was because i wanted to upgrade the firmware.

make sure the filenames of both the .SAV and the .NDS file are EXACTLY alike. Does that work for you?

From when I had a G6DS Real, you might have to give the file a .1 extension, not .sav, then, when you're in the G6 Loader, highlight the game, press Select, then choose "1->0", wait a few seconds. Then it might work. Also, yeah, don't post download links...

The save extension was changet in version 3.7 or 3.8 from .0 to .sav
