-Great guide !!!

-I have a GBA SP and a G6 Lite; I have updated the loader (v4.3 Original) with the new v4.6c English but when I go to view the GBA OS version G6 (in "about" tag) now I get "v4.4" always ... Is it normal???

Another question:

-I can't get to show a picture screenshoot neither in the preview window of the G6 U-DISK Manager v4.6c neither in the section of "Game - Game Flash" in the GBA Console: -It always show the default picture for all the games. Can somepeople tell me how I can get to view the right screetshoot for every game in the GBA Console ?.

--Thanks--

Great Guide good job.

I have one question though.
If i recase it into the Gba sized cartridge can i use the link feature on gba roms with the real versions?

Thanks

The casing choice has no effect whatsoever. There are some older flash cards however that let you format them to run a single ROM that boot directly, so if you owned one of those along with the real DS game, that would work. A solution for you would be to load the ROM along with the GBA one on the G6, link and run the game, let it save and transfer that save over to your real game card from the G6 Game Menu.

Lol.
I mean say if i have a gameboy advanced with pokemon ruby in.

Then another gameboy advanced with a rom of say leaf green running.

Will i be able to trade?

Last question.

Where can you get the firmware and burner updates from? because at the moment, handheldsources seems to be down.

I'd like to ask a question concerning the boot of the G6. I previously owned a Flash2Advance 256MBit cart for the GBA, I was simply wondering if it's possible to boot directly in to a rom rather than go through a menu. For example if you wanted to boot in to DSLinux or another menu program? The only real reason I wanted to know this is down to the customisability of the interface.

So I guess I'm also asking how customisable is the G6 interface?

Cheers

So the GBA roms have disapeard from my G6

In its place is a folder named ' ' and a file named CO

I cant open the folder
and also, the space left on my G6 is the same as it was when the Roms were there

any ideas people?

Should i just reformat it? How do i reformat? lol

Need help upgrading g6. I get confused with the whole add this two files to the root directory..........

Can someone give me a step by step on how to do this please.

By the way this is a great write up i wished i seen this yesterday. I just got my g6lite its amazing.

Put the two files in the root of your G6.
Then run in Gba mode and follow the instuctions.

Hope that helps, updating is as easy as it gets.

Hy Guys,

just ordered my G6 at flashlinker, I hope it's as amazing as described !?!

Regarding to the software - why don't you download from G6Flash.com ??

So far for now -

Is it normal for GBA games to take a long while to boot up? Booting up DS games is much quicker for me.
GBA and DS games seem to load in similar amounts of time for me, depending on the file size of the games.

I've read in some reviews that enabling compression for GBA roms makes it take much longer to load them. I've never bothered with it myself so I don't know for sure.

does the udisk manager work in linux under wine, been trying it but everytime i try to write a game it says the disk is full
