Someone knows where to buy one of these G6 flash Card for my NDSL?
They haven't been in production for nearly 10 years now (give or take,) your best bet it to make a thread in the trading section and see if anyone still has one.

Does anyone have a link to the software for the U-Disk Loader Manager? handheldsources doesn't exist anymore, I just get 404's. If you have the software can you please upload it somewhere and provide a link? Thank you very much.

Is your G6 Still working? Surprising! I have it boxed with everything but it no longer works, I'm assuming the soldered battery crapped out long ago. I haven't attempted to replace it yet.

I just got mine out and you’re right - it’s not even detected anymore. I’ll try and replace that battery and report back...

Edit 1: it clearly says on the box that the battery is rechargeable - I'm leaving it plugged into the u-disk reader for a few hours instead.

Edit 2: after a number of hours plugged into USB (Windows was still saying to insert a disk), the blue light came on and the drive appeared in Windows. After another hour charging, it was detected in a DS Lite and fully working. Amazing piece of kit after 14 years!

Edit 3: out of curiosity I also dusted-off my G6DS-Real (which was also undetected by both the console and the PC), I tried the same thing and it is also now back up and running like new!

Mine still works but I’m struggling to find a way to create icons for the games. Glad to see it still working and the new iOS display I installed has brought new life to the G6.

Where did you find the iOS display ?

My G6 Lite is still working but I can't save my progression anymore. It's weird because my old saves are still there but I can't create new ones.
Do you think it could be related with the built-in rechargeable battery ?

Battery is either not charged or dead.

G6 lite saves to a battery backed storage (Sram I think, not sure anymore), then writes those saves to the nand for safe keeping the next time you power up.

Dead battery means the saves will be lost as soon as you power off. Old saves are uneffected as they reside on the nand.

If the battery isn't completly dead, you might get away with powercycling it as soon as you are finished playing. If it can hold charge just long enough for a powercycle, then it will move the new save from sram->nand.

If not, then it's either leave it in the U-disk reader to see if it will charge or replacement battery time.

I finally replaced my G6 battery and saves are working again !
I find out that you need "Flash Advance Toolkit" to modify gba game name appearing in the UI (renaming header) but I was wondering if there is a way to also modify the rom name for game using emulator ? For example when I add 2 game boy classic game (.gb) they have exactly the same name in the UI , both are named "GOOMBA"

Just modify the "ico" file to identify by image ;)
