Hacking G6 GBA Icons

You put an icon on your G6 Lite that is 4.64kb?

Because all the icons on my G6 Lite, are 7.52kb. And the ones I've made, and that won't show up in the G6's menu, are 12.kb. So I'm assuming it is the size of the file that is preventing the icon from appearing in the G6's menu.

Sorry guys, it seems that my tmp-folder got emptied and the upload directory there too, which caused the error. It is fixed now.

And about the ICO-format. It is not the same ICO-format as the windows icons. Photoshop surely doesn't know it, unless someone writes a plugin to that.

To make your own icons you can also use the ICO converters released previously by KingSquitter. But, of course if you use my site instead, you will make your image available to everyone else too, which I think is nice

I was disappointed when your site didn't work for me, but I sallied forth, got the pic_G6.exe by KingSquitter proggy and started making icons.
Here are my results. Note: THESE ARE .ico FILES, NOT ROMS or ROMZORSES or whatever you kids are calling them these days.
Clicking on the name should allow you to download the .ico file. If it doesn't work for some reason, save the PNG image and D.I.Y.
Remember, the .ico file must match the name of your rom on the cart. Sorry if I'm over-explaining this.

Hey, very cool icons you have there mthrnite. I hope to see those uploaded too

I've updated the site a little bit, now it displays two times more icons at a time than it did previously

Also that upload problem shouldn't exist anymore. I still need to do some clean up, as people have uploaded same icons many times and created extra games. Maybe I will code an admin page next for easy cleaning

Anyway, big thanks to everyone who has uploaded icons !
