Not everyone has a DSi obviously, and for the people who don't, it makes no difference to them that the Cyclo is not DSi-compatible; the Cyclo is still one of the best DS flash carts in the market, and for that reason it still gets mentioned and it is still worth buying.

I'm not sure that addresses the questions. It seems more defensive than enlightening, actually. This is another problem with forums: You get endless posts that are just meaningless fluff that fail to answer proposed questions put forth. People are more interested in ego-feeding post counts rather than efficiency.

You asked why the Cyclo is still worth mentioning, so he answered that question. In case you haven't noticed this is the Cyclo sub-forum, so if you want info on the Acekard go ask in that section. Most of the people that frequent here don't even own an Acekard.

Well there's really no way to answer a question like that. But it can be assumed that if a product is obsolete yet everyone still likes it, then it must mean that the product is very well designed.
If you're asking why there's no CycloDSi, I think it's because it won't sell unless it brings forth many new features that the other Dsi flash carts don't have. This was the main selling point of the Cyclo when it came out, and Team Cyclops knows that. Unfortunately, no one cares about any feature except for an unlocked DSi mode and this is proving to be a challenge for homebrew and flash cart teams alike.

If you're gonna ask about Acekard questions, it's advisable to go to the Acekard board, but I'll try to answer them.
Yes the Acekard 2i can update itself to bypass DSi firmwares.
Yes the Acekard 2i supports cheat codes.
Yes it has great skinning capabilities, but I am not sure how well it compares to the Sakura.
Yes the saves are compatible, but you will need to rename them as Acekard uses .nds.sav rather than just .sav. You do not need to convert them using Shunyweb. I do not know why he does not have a downloadable converter.

Why is there a note in the cheat.db that bothers to say "Only works with Acekard and Cyclo" if they aren't worth buying?
I have no clue what you're talking about here. The only notice I see in the cheat database is the one relating to R4 users.

It's in the M&L Bowser's Inside Story cheats.

That skinning question was more about if the firmware's capable of smooth scrolling like navigating through the Sakura's beautiful menu.

Oh and thanks for your answers, too, I deeply appreciate it.

Yeah that was the quote button instead of the Edit button. Whatever.

It does support SDHC, right? I mean, you never can tell, it's always the places you overlook because you think people are smart where failure lurks.

Yep, all flash carts nowadays are assumed to have SDHC support.

Again, I don't know anything about the Mario and Luigi cheats, but keep in mind that the game has Nintendo's new anti-piracy measures in it, and it's proving to be hard to crack. It's really up to the flash cart teams to release firmwares that bypass the blocks. If you buy an Acekard and download the new AKAIO firmware, you can play Mario and Luigi without cheats or patches.

As for scrolling, I don't know how it compares to Sakura, but in this review it mentions that you can change how fast it scrolls, and the reviewer says that it is pretty smooth. http://dsdatabase.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1179
