I have a small problem, when i play the games from the harddisk i have sound on my tv and gamepad, but when i play an original game (at disk) then i have sound on my tv but no sound on the gamepad...
The game i have is skyanders for wii u

There's no HDD in Wii U, it's only Flash Memory.
As to that issue: Changing sound output options in System Settings to Stereo might change your issue.
Also some games only give sound if Headphones are connected. [BotW for example but only if it's switched to TV mode]

Is CBCH not that reliable? Or why list both options?
CBHC is reliable but requires you to purchase a $10 DS VC game from the eShop, which some might not be able to do. Mocha doesn't need anything other then the browser, so it is listed for those who can't get a DS VC

I see. Thank you.

With that out of the way I can install this new way of getting CFW. Used RedNand the whole time.

I installed Coldboot with Haxchi. Can I change my config.txt again or is this not possible?

You can't if you install CBHC. The main menu should be fine tho, as it can boot CFW, HBL, mocha, and vwii (and vwii hbc)

I thought so. But it's ok. As you said, I can access everything through the main menu.

Now to install all the games again. There is no new method since the brazilian method, I guess?

Homebrew launcher haxchi cbhc and wup installer that's all you need for this guide or just follow a newer guide

I have a few questions:
I readed your guide.

Question 1:

At the part from "getting a cfw" then I see written something like:

Method 3 HAXCHI CFW

  1. Boot the WIIU
  2. Run Haxchi while pressing and holding B (this will load acfw and bring you back to sysmenu
  3. Run haxchi as usual to go back to homebrew.
It has so many less steps then Method 2 ? Are there a few steps not on method 3?
Or is this not really a method 3? Or do I have to continue this step if I use method 2?
I guess method 2 is probably the best choice then? Or what's the difference between method 2 and 3 there?

Question 2:

Can someone please reupload "starter package " that I have to put on SD card?

For the rest it seems pritty clear I guess.

Question 3:

Can the softmodded wiiu also play wii, wiiu , gamecube games from a HDD ? Or does this only work through SD card?

Greetings Avanox
