yea if you right click on any file on the pc side(left side) and select upload it will transfer it to the current open folder on the 3ds side(right side), I just made a new folder in the root of the 3ds SD card named CIA, and transfer them all to there, then open up dev menu and install it from there

I love this, what a great application, works a treat for me, at least now I can transfer games via this way, nice & easy and install them with the devmenu instead of cluttering up the micro-sd card, it really works great if you have not got a big M-SD card to hold all your games on! :)

yea it works great for me, the 3ds sometimes hangs up, but if i just press the home menu and then change directories in the ftp that seems to get it going again, now if only someone who knows how could convert this to a .cia that would be awesome.

Cant you just convert and generate a .cia file format and install it with the devmenu? have you tried this way? just thought you cant because of generating the xorpads, damn I don't think it would work!!! Yeah but if you could do that there would be no need for a GW card you would then just do it all through your sysnand instead.

ya im not sure about the xorpads becuase I dont think its an encrypted 3ds rom, i think its a hombrew app with zero keys, i dont know enough about this type of stuff though.

Really you would not want it to work anyway, I would not because if it did, it would have a massive hit on Gateway because if it was the case and you could use it all people would have to do is borrow a GW card install the devmenu and this app and then dump the GW card and just use the systemnand for future there would be no need for a GW card anymore! it would be bad news for GW owners and future progress.

Is it really that bad? I was about to give it a shot, would probably extend my 3DS's SD slot lifespan.
>boot 3ds file
>connect
>errors here, errors there
>files not downloading properly
>finally decide to exit
>hit disconnect
>game freezes till i turn off the wireless switch on the 3ds to break the cycle
>cant connect again till i reboot the rom
yeaa..

well I personally had few issues with it, transferred files to and from the sd card with no errors, it does freeze up but if you press the home button and open a different folder on the ftp or disconnect it unfreezes. maybe try a different ftp client?

Not really trying to upload the files on my end. It just yells at me about it refusing my connection for some reason. I'll keep this tool bookmarked, looks super promising...

Yeah, I have a high interest in this tool as well, but reading how unstable it is right now, I feel like I should hold off for now.

It's working fine for me. I'm able to transfer over saves and small CIA files easily. Now if only there were a .cia version of this.
