Frogger to Get a Fresh Coat of Paint

The iconic arcade classic Frogger will be getting a modern day rejuvenation with Frogger: Hyper Arcade Edition from Konami this spring. Frogger will apparently see an update to his "core mechanics" of car-dodging, log-jumping and road-traversing, along with a fresh coat of paint. Taking a page out of Pac-Man's playbook, a wide range of different sprite choices are available including sprites from 8-bit Contra and Castlevania!

All new modes include Battle Royale, Freak Out and Tile Capture, which support up to 4 CPU or flesh 'n blood players.

Celebrate 30 years of Frogger this spring on PSN, WiiWare or XBLA.
