Damn, wazmo your pretty fast alone, I don't think I'm any help, I'm a bad coder... *sniff* I think it's all up to wazmo, he seems to be the only dedicated one!

well it may slow down a bit now (MAYBE) because the next step is getting the note flow going. im reading up on advanced C now and I already have some ideas. man this is going to be amazing once its finished. if we win the bounty I think i'll use the $200 to buy a nice new guitar (of course with an added $300 of my own).

If I won it would go to a playboy subscription... I mean charity! XD But you get the money, since it's so great, the strumming is kinda slow, and the sound I don't think is loud enough. I can barely hear it and all that is on is a quiet fan. GREAT JOB THOUGH!!!!!

Guitar Hero Roadie Edition? It's a homebrew that sucks and I don't know what to do, it's in another language.

VideoGame Hero, coming soon? Forgot the website.... sumiguchi.ca or something...

EDIT: Here is the website that I was talking about.

EDIT2: I don't know if those are Open Source...
Oh yes GHRO,it's in French and i'm French i can ask the creator^^
But if it sucks it is because it was made for^^
The game is about a boy who must chord the guitar of a rockstar^^

Hey everyone! I just got back from work! I don't have to work for the next four days. Yay! I will be helping as much as possible on my days off.

So, tell me what I need to draw and I'll get right on it (after I go to sleep for a few hours of couse).

@wazmo
Did you ever get my sprites I sent to you? Also, I would really like to see note and fret sprites in the next release. Thank you for being so awesome at homebrew. If we win the bounty, the money should defiantly go to you.

One more thing, I noticed that the strings don't move when you strum in the latest demo, but I'm sure you are going to fix it. I think that when you strum, the strings should move left and right for about 2 seconds after the strum, like how a real guitar rings. Anyway, I don't mean to rush you. I just wanted to point that out.

i will do that (hopefully in the next demo)

the strumming is kinda slow

its not that its SLOW but the sound file it plays is to long and it needs to be able to overlap (another thing i will fix)

yah i will definitaly fix that cause it bugs me to

o well, u wouldnt need the strumming sound effect anyway, the strumming sound is suppose to be the song itself right? (as a serperate layer from the vocal voice and other instrument etc.)

I'm gonna go to bed for now. I would like to know what other sprites I need to make though. Thanks.

BTW I just thought of a way for notes to work as well. If yours does not work let me know and I'll explain my idea (it's a bit complicated, but it should make it easy for people to make their own charts).

I'll be back in a few hours. Bye.

sooo....
wazmo, dont mean to have you pressurised or anything since this is still in verrrry early stage and you are working on the major problem at the moment, but what are you goin to do with the bg image at the back of the note rail? is it just going to be a still picture (as it is on frets on fire)? or how about *koff koff* some 3D animation or maybe just simply animated 3D images (maybe a few frames each set) *koff koff* if thats what you'd like, you got a hand here......

Aha........

Then i have one another question, do I need a grip to play the homebrew game that you call FretFury

lol, I think I want to work on a menu...

I hope it gets finished, and you really don't have to put my name, I haven't helped...

I got the rock meter and I will be using it (not yet though of course)
