This project is dying...If it doesn't revive it's self, I'm taking the FretFury supporter thing out of my sig. I understand it takes a lot of work, but Wazmo has NOT been around at all. This is insane...

I'm working a little now, I do have school and a ton of work, however.
I'll probably start a new topic, or ask Alex too, when I finish because it wont be for a while...

I guess wazmo just gave up.
If someone wants his source code, pop me a pm. Let me warn you, that it is impossible to understand, so watch out.
All if statements and PA Lib functions. NO loops (except for the necessary while(1)s). NO arrays (there are 50 collision check variables or something [I dont even know], but they are named hit1 through hit50 something. AND one source file only (minus the raw sound).
wazmo must be a genius, because his code is in the must unorganized, inefficient style I've ever seen!

I don't want to bash, but I had to share (it's pretty ridiculous)

hey just to clear things up. no i have not given up. i would never give up. im just finding it reeeeeeealy hard to find time to work on Fretfury (what with work and school and everything) the only time i really get to work on it is on the weekend but that dosent mean im giving up it just means it'll take longer. and musturd no matter what do NOT distribute my source or i will have to fire you

. dont give up people your support is what keeps fretfury going.

yeah i love guitar hero very much tats y i've been following this thread ever since i tried out their 1st demo.....
incredible work.....can't w8 for fretfury to complete...and also guitar hero decades (heard to come out very soon)

btw i juz found out tat i joined only 1 day b4 you...

Thanks for trying Wazmo. You made a little bit of history right here. You at least made some fame on blogs and webpages if that makes you feel good inside.

Hopefully a better homebrewer will make something like this, but with better updates and graphics.


I know how hard it is to program, but this just sucks dude.
