Hacking Freedom - Public Beta 2 with USBLoader support!

Some problems I'm having with 0.3b:
-DVD games no longer launch from disk channel
-Doesn't display USB games unless there's a DVD in drive
-Freezes when I try to launch channels (But HBC loads if I press HOME)

Freedom is running off of IOS250 (cIOS38 rev 14)

Anyone else having these problems?

You need a disc in drive for cIOS rev14? That shouldn't be. What game exactly, or all games? Sure you have cIOSrev14?

You need a disc in drive for cIOS rev14? That shouldn't be. What game exactly, or all games? Sure you have cIOSrev14?

I'm positive I have rev 14.

This happens with all USB games, they don't even show in the disk channel.

If I don't have a game in the DVD drive, the disk channel just says "No disk" and I can't select any games on my USB drive.
But after I put a game in and the disk channel reads it, I can select games on the USB drive by pressing left or right.

Ah ok, lol. That's most likely related to crediar being even more lazy than me. He does not have a wbfs formatted drive, so he doesn't test it himself. It's probably one line of code that needs to be changed to NOT wait until the disc is identified.

I only tested a few versions which did only do usb loading.

the last commit on http://code.google.com/p/freedom-wii/ is from the 29.12.2009...
Still beta ? abandoned project?
