i can offer the service, i have a few memory cards (official sony) i can sell as well. i just need a bit of guidance on how to copy, never done it before. but i have a freemcboot on fat ps2 up and running flawlessly.

Copy what? If you mean FMCB copying does not work. FMCB must be installed using installer on each card. Copying file does not work at all.

If you mean save files just use uLaunchELF to mark folders and do mcPaste on another memory card.
 
oh that sucks, then im not interested! don't feel like taking my ps2 apart everytime. i thought you would be able to install freemcboot from within freemcboot, like plug in two memory cards and click install and it will install to memory card 2.

You don't have to take apart the ps2 to install it each time. If you already have a fmcb card, you can use it to install fmcb onto another card, as long as you have the install files on a usb drive.
 
sounds simple, i will check on my memory cards tonight and potentially install fmcb on it. how much are they worth nowadays? i know they were like $20 new back in the ps2 times. I'm guessing like $10 shipped?

i think i have 3 of them, just in case any interested parties see this.

Also remember, if you are shipping out of your own country (ie USA to United Kingdom or vice versa) you must use a region free install, 1.8c or 1.92.

Is it the official memory card (or licensed memory card that have MagicGate)?

I answered the same question just few post ahead. Download FMCB installer onto a USB flash drive and plug it into PS2. Use FMCB to launch uLaunchELF. From there launch FMCB installer under mass:

I being doing installs for several years and have good feedback on several forums.
 
I can happily install fmcb for any1 that wants to cover all the shipping im in the uk
 
I'm willing to install FMCB for people who pay the shipping. I live in BC Canada and have installed FMCB on 3 memory cards in the past.
