Want me to post about just free games or about giveaway contests too?

Yes, I know, so? What I mean is that now I'll have to use Steam for some of the games and Epic Launcher for the rest, I hate fractured libraries between DRMs:/
Use a universal library manager like Playnite (it automatically adds games from several launchers)

And then I'll have to run that and all DRMs at the same time so they can just eat up my system resources while running in the background... It's annoying enough to just keep Steam active to play games through it, I can't stand having background stuff running in the tray.

The drms only turn on if you're using them, but yeah it does eat a tiny bit of system resources, but it's next to nothing even for an old computer

That's not the issue, it's that having to turn the DRMs on and off for when playing a game only can get annoying with the signing-in every time for every game compared to one sign in and having your entire library available right after.

One day I plan to add some code to the project (playnite) to close other drms when another is open. So open origin, then open steam then origin closes. Seems simple enough, but I'll be honest I'm still learning.

GOG Galaxy 2.0 does all that already. You can have it set so that when you select a game it'll open it's required program to launch it (Steam, Origin, Etc) then close it when you're done playing.
Does GOG galaxy have support for emulated games? like for instance PS2 Okami or something

Guys, its free games... Why do you complain (even the slightest) if they are reusing them? Learn to appreciate...
This whole thread is showing appreciation lol
I actually bought a game from their store a day or two ago (Griftlands)

Same here. I bought Journey for 5€ with the 10€ discount and finally played through it. Gotta say it wasn't the most smooth experience with the game crashing 50% of the times I booted it but enjoyable still. Met one other player through the whole thing. Bought Borderlands 3 for 29€ since it's discounted and there's a 10€ discount on everything.
