So this is not quite a game, but existing Amazon Prime members who link their prime account with twitch Prime can get Nintendo Online for free for 12 months (3 months to start but renewable after 60 days).

there are also 4 games for free:

kabounce
star vikings forever
the king's bird
snake pass

Not quite free given that you need amazon prime, but lots of people have prime already. Sorry if this post is not qualified as a free giveaway because it only sort of is.

It's fine I guess since Nintendo Online is kinda important (since nowdays online is paid on consoles and all). By the way, The King's Bird you mentioned is an interesting game for anyone curious, but can get boring. Don't know about the others...

It's been a while, but how is prime nowadays?

I remember trying it for about a month, and it clearly showed my tablet (note: it was a cheap one to begin with). After I removed prime, all the free games I had downloaded refused to work.

I stopped using the Prime games myself... but they worked well enough and usualy included all the stuff you'd normally need cash for. I think the initiative was called "Absolutely Free" as part of Amazon underground... I'll check if its still rolling and if I still have the games later today from my phone!

Similar to my last post, another freebie on itch.io for anyone interested, Hampton Court, really interesting game if you ask me, so grab it while you can: https://chrisiscreative.itch.io/hampton-court

Just login and claim it, DRM free and you can download anytime from your library!

Yet another freebie from IndieGala, DRM-free as well like all the recent ones, this time it's Survivalist: https://freebies.indiegala.com/survivalist/ Reviews are good and all, so even though I'm not a fan of top-down/isometric camera games that much, I may try this one...

Transistor is now available for free on the Epic Games Store from April 18th to May 2nd.

The next freebie (starting May 2nd) will be World of Goo.

Not really interested in the current one, but for World of Goo it's nice to hear that it's still getting some popularity, REALLY underrated game honestly, dead online as well, but it's one of the VERY few games that has actually made me FEEL something (all sorts of emotions even, laughing at the early cutscenes or the music making me cry out of pity for the goo balls and so much more)! Everyone should definitely try it, I already have it DRM free from day 1, but will still get it on Epic once it's available because why not?:P
