Wordle is free on IndieGala.

Man, talk about awkward timing. It looks like this Wordle was originally released in June 2020. For some reason the Steam page shows April 2021, but its sequel Wordle 2 came out August 2020

This page shows a release date of June 16th, 2020:

gg shows a price history going back to June 22, 2020:

And this is a video of someone playing it in July 8, 2020:

It looks like the game was originally an "Early Access" game, so Steam resets the "Release Date" when it left Early Access, well after its sequels were released.

It looks like the game is essentially an "asset flip" of this pre-made game "Word Game" by Bizzy Bee Games on Unity's Asset Store

Meanwhile, the more famous game of the same name (but different gameplay) came out October 2021:

It sounds like the better Wordle won out, but this one probably isn't that bad for free.

itch.io:
Glitch Labs also have a huge giveaway of free assets, sountracks, scripts and whatnot for those that create games. Here's the link to it.

5 days - Gal*Gun 2 (unknown limited number of available copies)
You can get Gal*Gun 2 right now while there are still some licenses left if you've checked in every day so far. If you do, there will be three more coupons you could claim for playing it for 60 minutes.

Game Of Mafia is free on IndieGala. (Apparently there are some issues with downloading this game.)
Off topic: Just how long does the login cookie stay intact for this damn site? 5 minutes? Literally every time I visit it, I have to log in again.
They should ask itch.io how to handle logins, Jesus...

I haven't noticed that issue with IndieGala on my end. STOVE on the other hand is pretty bad as I have to login and solve their captcha every day or so.

I was planning to switch to a paid plan after updating the online support. but I forgot that once you switch from paid to free, I can never go back to paid! :)

If you enjoy playing this free version, be sure to try the series (PICO PARK , PICO PARK 2) too.

For me, I need to log into both Indiegala and STOVE everytime. :/

Are you guys switching between computers/devices?

For Indiegala, I tend to check on one particular computer, but signing back in seems to line up when I check on another computer, then go back to my main one. It may only be keeping you logged into one browser at a time, and logging all other sessions out when you login on a new browser.

I don't see it as much for STOVE, but I make sure to check the "Auto-login" box on the login screen to stay logged in.

I do from time to time and I understand when that happens, when they disconnect me from the "main" browser. IndieGala doesn't mind it that much, but STOVE logs me out randomly even when I'm accessing it on the main browser only, even if I set the "auto-login" toggle.
