Well I'm 2/3rds of the way in of me entertaining myself this year where I'm itchin at fan games and I thought I update this thread on the last 8 weeks. I missed out on this one, but I read the game's description and thought about the concept.

Like, you start the game with walking sim controls and pitifully easy QTE's, but as the game "develops itself," you eventually get a difficult third-person action game like Devil May Cry. Throw in a narrative about realizing one's own abilities, limitations, and potential, and you have a complete arc to go along with the theme.

It was given away for free about a year ago, maybe it'll happen again next year.

I do remember having played the game, steam says I've got about an hour of playtime on it. Its not a masterpiece, but it was an hour of decently good entertainment.

Note that for Road Redemption on mobile, you need both the always-free "base game" and the discounted-to-free "full game" DLC. It's only free on mobile this week, not on PC, as it was free on PC back in August, from August 7-14.

Try going to this page: https://store.steampowered.com/account/licenses/
Press F12 and enter javascript:AddFreeLicense(1418465) into the console.

Otherwise, I highly suggest using ArchiSteamFarm for adding games and licenses. Just follow the setup guide and, once configured, run the app, press the C button to start the console and paste the following command: !addlicense asf a/3410960
