STOVE Store is giving away four games in September for checking in:

Does the stove store give out steam keys or is it its own launcher/store?

It's its own launcher and store. From what I can tell, it's based in Korea, but you can create an account and play games from anywhere. You can use the store without the launcher, but for "checking in," you need to launch a game from the launcher every day.

For August, I used the free game "Under the blue horizon - Aquarium" , since it's fairly small (300MB) and not resource intensive. I'd launch and run it for a minute or so and then I'd be eligible to check in.

You could use a different free game though. Love n War: Hero by Chance II, is one that Blythe previously posted about, that's temporarily free for about another day:

You also get $0.10 coupons on some days, and those are stackable, so you can get up to 10 of them in the month, meaning you could use them to get a $1 or less game for free. Other days you get "flakes" which are a store currency for certain rewards. You can use them to buy certain games on the "Exchange Store" lower on the page, or enter into raffles for coupons or free games.

Also, once you are awarded a free game, there's additional prizes you can get for playing them, typically discounts of either a percentage off a game, or $0.10-$1 off coupon.

Finally, for me, I already got Elypse free from last month's check-in event, so I'll be awarded flakes for that award instead.
