Sonic the Hedgehog 1 & 2 also on the Play Store (for free). just wanted to mention it even though they won't be removing those, i think?

Those two games still have ads in them, and aren't going to be delisted soon.

Articles have noted that all these were part of Sega's failed "Sega Forever" service. They previously removed a ton of games in 2023:

SEGA Forever offers retro gaming fans an ever-expanding collection of classic SEGA games, available free-to-play on mobile platforms. Each game is available for download as an individual ad-supported title, with the option to remove all ads via in-app purchase for $1.99 (regardless of original console generation).

So the notable thing about the games getting removed is that they're free but no longer have ads. Sonic the Hedgehog 1 & 2 will still have ads, and Sonic 4 Episode I still costs $2.99.

ROTA: Bend Gravity is going free to paid on Steam.

For anyone interested, this game was not available in a Germany, because it was missing an age rating. The developer has now filled out the questionnaire to get a rating and can be claimed in Germany.
