Homebrew Freakyhax not working-help!!! - 11.6.0-39U

Hello,
I recently got my hands on a physical copy of Freakyforms Deluxe. I downloaded the starter, the right otherapp for 11.6.0-39U, and the right freaky.bin (old USA), of course. I put them all on the root of my SD card. when i read the QR code, it had a black sceen for a couple seconds, then it went to the Home menu and said, "An error has occoured. The system will now restart". I've tried reinstalling almost everything several times, and it still does not work. Attatched is a picture of my fies on my SD card.

Please help! I've been at this all day.

try reseting the save and do it :


Resetting save
1. Clear your save by holding A+B+X+Y when the game starts.

2. Set your planet name to "a".

3. With minimal effort create 5 formees with name "a", favourite phrase "a" (you have to go through the tutorial, unfortunately).

4. Remove all 5 formees.

5. Leave game and enter 3DS Settings. Move date one day forward.

6. Start the game again.

7. Create a formee with name "a" and favourite phrase "a".

8. Restart the game.

Then load the qr code exploit

Can anybody confirm that freakyhax still works for 11.6?
I've seen one post by someone who claimed it worked on 11.5. Other people have indicated that 11.6 patched most the userland exploits.
EDIT: I found lots of youtube tutorials supposedly showing how to use it. Maybe try one of them. Obviously 3ds.guide is better but I'm not sure 3ds.guide still has info on using this ancient exploit.


OP: Get a suitable NDS flash cart if cfw is your aim. Otherwise you may have to just wait/hope/pray that another userland exploit becomes available that will work on 11.6, it seems unlikely though as the ntrboot method is available.

That is what I followd and it works for me on o3ds stock 11.6.0-39E
