I was wondering if there is a good (as in foolproof, or maybe even better noobproof, though a foolproof is probably easier to make) guide to making forwarder channels?

I have a few emulators I launch from HBC for GBA and scumm.. I've tried the channels for those emus, but they seem to constantly crash or experience other errors. Something that never happens when I use the emus from HBC.
What I'd love to see is either a good guide which even I, the most unintelligent person/noob in the universe, can follow, or some generic forwarder channels with banners just saying "GBA Channel" and "SCUMMVM Channel" that simply loads the boot.dol in sd:/apps/gba/ and sd:/apps/scummvm/

Might also be an idea to make some channels for other types of emus.. That way people can have the generic forwarder, and just use the emu they prefer [IMG]

If anyone would make those channels, the guide wouldn't really be needed.. But it would still be nice to have one [IMG]

    +2 for the bump

I would like to make a "USB Loader Forwader" Channel (WAD) but using the Wii Play Disc Channel Animation (opening.bnc) for the Banner/Icons/Start Screen

so you want the Wii Play disc animation to lead to the USB Loader menu??

    rip the .bnr using wiiscrubber

    extract the .wad

replace the 0000001.app with the boot.dol (renamed obviously of your forwarder.)

    replace the .bnr and repack.

or...use wadder, i think the latest version have automated .bnr options.

So, how do I make a forwarder channel to run whatever boot.dol is in sd:/apps/scummvm/ ?
Your reply, MightyMouse, didn't really help me much.. I'm aware you're probably replying to ohnai.

Can anyone tell me how to do this, please?

    THANK you!

    Now tell me..
If I thank you by name, would that be considered an insult to you? Cause that's the last thing I want.. [IMG]

antiaverage, well actually it does.. If you're familiar with wadder already, it explains the process quite well.
But in any case, it answers my original post perfectly, since that was "How do I make these or where do I find them so I don't need to make them?" [IMG]
