Hacking formatting vita?

i have hacked my ps vita and used sd cards but its kinda of mess, long story short i had to install twice the hack both on the console and sd card because once the sd card was inserted the bubbles were gone.

anyway because i also messed up with the text file i figured its would be better to start completely fresh

thus the question, can i and how should i format my vita. if i format will it remove the hack? and everything i did? if so thats good thats what i would like to do.

It will erase ur0: (and other things), meaning that if you were loading plugins from ur0 (as recommended) they will all be disabled.

If you are on 3.60 with Enso, then Enso will stay installed in the MBR, but it will be disabled (no plugins/homebrew without browser exploit) because ur0:/tai/boot_config.txt will also be removed

If you are on 3.65 with Enso, then Enso will continue to work (without any plugins if you have config.txt in ur0)


Do note that you can disable plugins by turning on the power while holding L

On 3.60 you can restart from scratch and 3.65 you cant restart from scratch, there is no reinstall point for 3.65 if you wipe clean.

Just to clarify, that's true (for now) for reinstalling the OS, but not for a factory reset
