Hacking Format or don't?

Hey, I followed 3ds.guide and they said after the transfer (regarding the dsiware exploit) you can call Nintendo (my only choice) to restore your NNID on your target 3ds after doing the transfer and so I did and they said to format my target 3ds because "it was already linked" even after the transfer. So should I format (and do I need to move the dsigame to my sd card first)? Or what else can I do?

It's possible you didn't get a response because your problem doesn't make much sense. You would call Nintendo if you wanted to restore your NNID on the source 3DS, not the target 3DS.

To clarify, Nintendo told you to format your target 3DS because your NNID is already on your target 3DS. So, doing the step of calling Nintendo to restore the NNID on your target 3DS is pointless.
