I once played a game a good while back on an Emu that i really enjoyed (not sure if it was VBA or an NES/SNES, but i'm pretty sure it was VBA) anyways the only thing i remember about it was that it played similar to Sword of mana (action RPG) and it had a job class tree like a swordsman

Seiken Densetsu is actually in the exact same series as Sword of Mana. That's possibly why you thought it played similarly.

Actually, Seiken Densetsu was the game that started the Mana series... Are you thinking of another game with the Seiken Densetsu name?

Sword of Mana is a remake/port of the first Seiken Densetsu.
