Okay, so I really want to play KH1/2 FM+/Several "Backups(Hehehe)" and I've decided to go the route of Magic Key 3.6 and the Flip Top.
I have some questions about this though:

A. Can the Flip Top still allow you to play normal games?
B. Is this site reliable as a seller?
C. What games require CD-R?
D. Will the Flip Top work on the SCPH-70012 type Slim?
E. Will the Magic Key 3.6 work on the SCPH-70012 type Slim?

Yes, but you don't need one to successfully use Swap Magic, all you need are Magic Keys.
B. Is this site reliable as a seller?
I don't know.
C. What games require CD-R?
Games that are under 700 MB in size.
D. Will the Flip Top work on the SCPH-70012 type Slim?
You don't need one, and yes it does.
E. Will the Magic Key 3.6 work on the SCPH-70012 type Slim?
You mean Swap Magic disc? It works on any PS2 version.

I won't use those. They seem a lot more complicated than the Flip Top.

Okay.

I guess Half Life falls into that category.

I'm getting it instead of Magic Keys, because those seem quite hard to place.

Awesome. I heard that some versions blocked it.

Any games that were originally on CD media will require CD-R, just because it's under 700 MB doesn't mean that you must use a CD, research the game to see which media it was used on first if you are unsure. Also, depending on how you get backups, there may be 'rebuilt' games in which CD games could be used on DVD media (and if so, they will state what media you must use)

I was about to say. Magic Keys loko TEN times easier than taking apart your ps2 to install the flip top. Unfortunately, I didnt discover them until after I had already ordered my flip top, so i was screwed. But if i could go back and do it all over again, I would definitely have gotten the magic keys. I had to take off my warranty sticker to get the ps2 unscrewed, so i would have been alot better off with the magic keys.
