Hi guys,

New to to forum so go easy on me.

Recently purchased a 2DS with Mario Kart included and I was wondering if any flashcards support the 8.1.0-19E? If there isn't I would have to install a CFW I imagine?

Pretty new to this scene but was pretty active during the NDS cards (r4 TTDS etc).

Thanks guys

DSTwo+ And since you're on such a low firmware, you can install cia files to overpatch it and make all flashcards work. So basically anything will work.

Thanks guys, so you guys are advising me NOT to upgrade at all? Will the DSTwo+ work straight out the box without me having to fiddle with the firmware of the 2DS?

Many Thanks

Yeah, you're on a good firmware. Updating means no flash cards for you unless you want to play older 3ds games on a Sky3DS.

So with RxTools, this allows me to install backups on my SD and play it from there?
Yes. But only as .cia files. With flash cards, you can play DS games as well but you cannot do that on RxTools unless you own the actual game.

I want whatever model of 3DS XL that is. My goodness it look awesome.

"AC adapter is not included." Charger not in the box?
Reported firmware for this model?
That's just a stock image from google. It's the european box art

You don't need to ask for stock firmware when buying an o3ds. They are guaranteed to be under 9.2 if you buy them new.

My friend bought an XL (O3DS) from our local Walmart and she didn't know anything about hacking and I asked her to let me see it. It was on 9.6.0-?? and I thought that was the case before but they do come at higher firmwares sometimes.

It was probably a returned console

If anything, buy gateway, DSTwo+ is just an emulator of Gateway.

Or just use rxtools for free.
