Yes, you need to short SL1 every time you flash or update your firmware. Updating is much quicker and it starts much higher, arround 50% or something, I can't remember

ok stupid question, i am assuming you do not need the passme again, but I totally forgot how to flash. I put the new flashme.nds on the sc and put all the other roms and such in a folder. I get an error that states not find the SC Please turn off gba?

what am i doing wrong.
